Forget New Year's, Set Your Goals NOW!

Most people will spend the next 6 weeks spending money and gaining weight. And then on January 1st, they will be making resolutions to lose weight and save money. Why not start now and put yourself ahead of the game.

Starting goals on January 1st is not always the best thing to do. Why? Because we are taught that we should do it, but most of us don't really want to. Doing it now shows that you are doing it because you really want to and not because it is expected of you.

The biggest obstacle you will face in achieving your goals is yourself. This is a guarantee. Why not get out of your own way and do it now? There is no time like the present and many people are going to be headed into their goal setting thousands of dollars shorter and ten pounds heavier.

You don't have to be among the typical. You can be among the atypical and this is where success really lives. Also by the time New Years rolls around your new actions and new behaviors will have already become habits. Again, you will be far and away ahead of the game.

Goal setting is only part of the process. You have to take actions to bring about the goals. You have to make changes. Carefully reading and examining your goals on a daily or weekly basis will make them a part of you and you will be more likely to bring about real change.

Make these changes now and you will be thankful that you did six weeks from now.
