Trilogy Moments - Spiritual Journey Uplifting the Mind, Body and Soul

First and foremost, I have found this book to be inspiring, uplifting, encouraging, and very enlightening. The authors of this awesome book, Joseph, Shelia, and their son Jonathan, show us the value of family bonding and relationship. It's an awesome accomplishment for all three of them to have written this book together. The dedication of the family unit is portrayed throughout this book of poetry.

Secondly, Joseph and Jonathan initiate the lead by taking the reader on an awarding journey beginning with the book with Seasons of Beauty. In this section the reader is able to feel and see nature through the poems, "Autumn Colors," "Red Leaves," and "The Tempest Rage Trilogy." These poems really highlight the essence of the seasons of the year.

Next, Joseph, Shelia, and Jonathan show us how the family prays together with their Prayers of Life Events section of the wonderful book. Here we find, "Prayers for Family Finances," "Classroom Prayer," and "A Soldier's Prayer." These and others awesome prayers to meet everyday needs and challenges in life are found here.

Additionally, the Spences continue their journey with us by presenting us with Daily Inspirational Thoughts. As I read "Glory on High," I could feel my muscles flexing and my motivation being lifted. As we "Rise Up" we are able to see a "New Hopeful Morning Trilogy" through words. Each poem was power-packed and very uplifting. Even the footnotes the writers gave us at the end of their poems were very encouraging and really touched the heart.

As the writers continue to lead us on their journey we reached the road of Family, Love, and Relationship. In this section they did not leave out, "My Grandpa and Grandma," "Grandma Heart (Trios-Par-Huit)" and we see the importance of "Family Fun" and "Reunions". Every poem made me long for home and all I could do was sit back and reminiscence about the good old days. This is such a delight.

Finally, this reader even got an extra bonus with the many different writing styles such as: Haiku poems, Quatrain forms, Nonet styles, and much more. Joseph ends the book with a taste of flavor and succulent dishes with his Epulaeryu Poetry section. My mouth was watering as I read "Yummy Breakfast," ""Barbequed Prime Steak," and "Breaking Bread." My goodness, this is Ummmm, Ummmm, Good! Now I am ready to cook!

This awesome and wonderful book of poetry can be read over, and over again. It's a must read for every family.

The reviewer, Mary Ann Duhart, is a poet and author. Her inspiring poetry book entitled Healing Through Poetry was recently released by Publish America.
